Where can you watch The Addams Family movies for Halloween 2021?

Who doesn’t love the Addams Family, especially during the spooky season? As the creepy family takes center stage in Halloween (and with a recent new movie release), it feels natural that many fans of the all together ooky Addams would want to rewatch their favorite films and maybe even the television series too.

Here’s a handy guide to find out where all of the films and TV shows are streaming (if they’re available).

Stream The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values

The 1991 and 1993 films starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia and Christopher Lloyd are only available to stream on AMC+ right now. You will need a subscription to watch them. You can also rent or purchase either film through digital retailers like iTunes, Vudu and Amazon.

Also, Freeform will be playing both films throughout the month as part of their 31 nights of Halloween schedule.

  • The Addams Family (1991)
    • Oct. 9 – 9:50 p.m. EST
    • Oct. 10 – 7:40 p.m. EST
  • Addams Family Values
    • Oct. 9 – 11:55 p.m. EST
    • Oct. 10 – 9:45 p.m. EST

The 1998 direct-to-video film Addams Family Reunion is not currently available to stream or rent anywhere digitally, but it doesn’t relate to either previous movie despite Christopher Hart and Carel Struycken reprising their roles as Thing and Lurch, respectively.

Where to watch The Addams Family reboot movies

The 2019 animated reboot is more accessible as it is available to stream in multiple places, including EPIX, Hulu and Paramount+. You can also rent and purchase it through digital retailers. However, the recently released sequel is only available in theaters or to rent for $19.99 through most retailers.

Stream the Addams Family TV shows

The 1964 series is available to watch for free through the Roku Channel or IMDbTV. The 1973 animated sitcom adaptation is streaming free on Pluto TV and Tubi TV. The New Addams Family and the 1992 animated version are not currently streaming right now.
