There’s Someone Inside Your House

New to Netflix on October 6, There’s Someone Inside Your House is the latest slasher film on the service. Starring Sydney Park, this horror film is based on Stephanie Perkins’s novel of the same name. It revolves around a terrifying killer who wears masks of his victim’s faces while simultaneously revealing their darkest secrets. Since the film is based on a novel, you can also pick it up after (or before) to get even extra slasher content this season.

Hell Fest

Hell Fest is a fun, if somewhat forgettable, slasher flick that takes place at an amusement park. A group of friends is picked off one by one throughout the night by a serial killer. This 2018 movie is actually set on Halloween night, too, which is always a fun bonus during the season. A group of teens attends a traveling theme park full of mazes and rides, so you can imagine how fun and inventive some of the kills are.

The Strangers

The Strangers is considered an iconic slasher film and home invasion thriller. A terrifying flick starring Liv Tyler, The Strangers starts with a quiet stay at a remote vacation home that quickly spirals into terrible for a couple when three masked strangers attack them. The sequel, The Strangers: Prey at Night is also available, although it’s not nearly as good (but the pool scene is pretty epic).
