The Girl in the Woods synopsis

The Girl in the Woods revolves around a small, blue-collar rustbelt town on the verge of something dark and otherworldly. Locals are protected from this evil by a cult-like colony dwelling in the woods. This group guards a door in the woods that is the only thing standing between the people and the ancient evil dwelling on the other side.

The door is sort of like a portal to another dimension, and it’s the colony’s job to prevent it from opening. At the center of it all is a teenage girl named Carrie who becomes swept up in the dangers of her job. She ends up befriending two local teens, and the trio soon becomes entangled in monster-slaying and attempts to protect the town from death and ruin.
