How to watch the Invasion series premiere tonight on Apple TV+

Invasion is Apple TV+’s latest science-fiction series, following in the footsteps of their other recently released sci-fi epic Foundation. The Invasion series premiere starts tonight on the streaming service. You will be able to watch the first three episodes of the 10-episode first season, with the remaining seven episodes airing once a week on Fridays until the December 10 finale.

It’s a little confusing to keep tabs on the show because the name Invasion is sort of generic and has been used by several movies and at least one other television show before. But this is the latest version, and it is an original series without ties to any other films, books or shows.

Invasion was created by Simon Kinberg, who is probably best known for his work on the X-Men series and The Twilight Zone reboot. He co-created the show alongside David Weil (Solos, Hunters).

Imagine that one day aliens really do invade the earth. What would happen? Invasion tries to take a realistic approach to that sentiment by showing us perspectives from different people around the world as they reconcile with a large-scale alien invasion.

The science fiction series stars Sam Neill, Shamier Anderson, Golshifteh Farahani, Firas Nassar, Shiori Kutsuna, Tara Moayedi and Daisuke Tsuji.
