There has been a new episode of Killer Camp for the past two weeks to watch on Sunday nights. Will that trend continue with a new episode of Killer Camp airing tonight, Sunday, October 24?

The horror reality show originally aired on ITV2 for its first season before The CW picked it up to fill out its schedule during the pandemic. Since COVID significantly interrupted filming last year, many networks imported shows from other countries to pad their fall or summer television schedules, and The CW was no exception.

Season 1 did well enough that The CW ordered another season of Killer Camp, now an in-house production. Two weeks ago, the sophomore season returned with more campers this time around. Bruce began killing again with (spoiler alert!) Sean, Basil and Jordan eliminated within the first two episodes. Each one turned out to be innocent, so the killer is still active and part of the game.

No. Unfortunately, there is no new episode airing tonight, nor will there be any new episodes of the show airing for the foreseeable future. A few days after Season 2, Episode 2 premiered, The CW chose to pull the reality show from its schedule.

The network did not say why, but it is theorized that the series was removed because of its poor ratings. Season 2 took more than a 60% decline from its first season and a significant nosedive in the critical 18-49 demo, too. The CW will air repeat episodes of Masters of Illusions in the show’s Sunday night 9/8c timeslot for now.

When will Killer Camp Season 2 return?

Reports indicate that The CW will eventually air the rest of the season since the whole thing has already been filmed, but it’s not clear when yet. Execs might hold it until next summer when they have fewer shows on the schedule.

It’s also possible that The CW will eventually choose to dump the series on streaming. Currently, you can watch the first two episodes for free on their ad-supported app and website.
