Who won Halloween Baking Championship 2021? The finale of the latest season of Halloween Baking Championship aired tonight. Who won?

After a fantastic season of Halloween Baking Championship, it all came down to the finale episode between Adina, Guillermo, Megan and Renee. For those who have kept up with the show, this is actually the second time Renee has made it all the way to a finale.

The first challenge in the finale was incredibly challenging as each baker needed to create a s’mores type treat with one of their most “feared” ingredients. For Megan, that meant working with black garlic, Adina had to master rosemary, Renee dealt with sauerkraut, and Guillermo used gelatin.

Halloween Baking Championship 2021 sudden-death showdown

Since the finale was a special two-hour episode, the first half was about the feared ingredient challenge, which resulted in Megan and Guillermo facing off in a sudden-death elimination, with Megan getting eliminated, leaving Guillermo, Renee and Adina to compete against each other.

In the second half of the finale, the remaining three competitors had to make a tiered or carved cake standing at least two feet tall inspired by the camp’s killer with the killer’s “brain” sticking out from the top. Of course, the brain has to be something edible, either a mousse, jelly or curd. Since Adina won the first challenge, she got to pick her filling, and whatever she chose was forbidden from the other two. She picked curd.

It was a fierce battle between these three talented bakers, but ultimately, Renee Loranger won the award of $25,000 and the title of Halloween Baking Championship 2021. It felt fitting that Renee won considering she got all the way to the finale in the previous season too and really proved herself as an excellent baker and one to watch.
