Trick or True Crime: Join these true crime podcasts for trick and treats!

For Halloween, fans of true crime podcasts will be treated to criminally-good content by some of your favorite podcasters! Starting today, Wednesday, October 27, fans can check out the top 16 podcasts like RedHanded, Obscura, Last Podcast on The Left, and Invisible Choir for exclusive goodies.

I don’t know about you, but when it’s the spooky season, I always want to listen to creepy podcasts, either about true crime, urban legends, or other dark stories. There are so many fantastic podcasts available now that it’s easy to find just about any topic of interest!

Trick or True Crime, hosted by Patreon, is not only a fantastic way to celebrate Halloween, but it gives fans a fun new way to experience their favorite podcasts with exclusive clips, treats, and maybe even a few scares!

True crime podcasts for Halloween: How does Trick or True Crime work?

All of the participating podcasts have memberships available via Patreon, and they’re sharing exclusive content with their biggest fans. This event will be the first time Patreon has united these 16 best true crime podcasts to share members-only content with their best and most passionate fans!

To join in on the fun, visitors can trick or treat by “knocking on the door” of each creator to get a trick or an exclusive treat. The treats will vary widely, from full-on true crime minisodes to five minutes of Patrick Hinds shrieking into the microphone.

For me, I went in and scored two free minisodes (one from Big Mad True Crime and the other from 911 Calls Podcast with The Operator), a new video from the Housewives of True Crime, and a fun Wine & Movie Pairing List from Wine & Crime!
