Halloween Ends is not coming out in November 2021

After the insane ending of Halloween Kills, we’re all dying to know what will happen next in the third and final film of the rebooted trilogy. But we’ll have to keep waiting for a while since Halloween Ends is not coming out in November 2021.

If you haven’t watched Halloween Kills yet, you should do so now before you keep reading, as we will mention some spoilers!

At the end of the most recent movie, Michael Myers seemingly showcased some supernatural abilities after being brutally attacked by Tommy Doyle’s mob. It looked like they were finally going to end Michael’s life, but somehow he got up from the massacre unscathed, murdering Tommy and Haddonfield’s former sheriff Leigh Brackett in the process.

Even worse, Michael managed to attack both Laurie’s daughter and granddaughter, Karen and Allyson. Allyson survived the night, but it looks like it might be the end of the road for Karen. The last we saw of her, Michael brutally stabbed her to death in Judith Myers’s old bedroom.

Of course, there could be a twist, and somehow Karen could survive the attack, but it doesn’t seem likely right now.

When is Halloween Ends coming out?

We don’t have an exact release date for the third film in the trilogy yet. It is slated for an October 2022 release date, but that could change depending on production issues and the pandemic. Currently, filming is scheduled to start on Halloween Ends in January 2022.

Originally, filming on Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends was going to be back-to-back, but those plans were scrapped because the filming for Halloween Kills was already so ambitious it wasn’t feasible to start on the next movie so soon after.

So far, it seems like there is a good chance the next movie will be on track for release next fall, making it the perfect addition to the holiday just like this year’s film was. After that, Blumhouse and David Gordon Green will be shifting focus to their next rebooted trilogy: The Exorcist.
