This American-British comedy-drama promises to be equal parts charming and horrific. If you thought there might be a shortage of holiday horror films this year, this movie is here to tell you that is, thankfully, not the case!
While not a traditional “horror” film, the upcoming Keira Knightley-led movie presents a unique premise and dire doomsday scenario that teases harrowing images and frightful suspense in the newly released trailer and key art.

Silent Night synopsis
As if surviving the holidays with all of your family members in attendance wasn’t challenging enough, imagine if the world was ending outside your posh, English countryside home. That’s the set-up for the new movie which sees married couple Nell (Knightley) and Simon (Goode) inviting their loved ones over for the holidays while something terrifying brews outside their doors.
The official movie synopsis reads:
"As the group comes together, it feels like old times – but behind all of the laughter and merriment, something is not quite right. The world outside is facing impending doom, and no amount of gifts, games or Prosecco can make mankind’s imminent destruction go away. Surviving the holidays just got a lot more complicated."
