What is Shudder’s Death Valley about?
The film revolves around a tale as old as time: a science experiment goes horribly wrong, trapping bioengineer Dr. Chloe (Kaster) inside an underground secret facility. Her experiment triggers a fatal decontamination effort that will destroy the entire lab and everything in it within 24 hours. Chloe deploys an emergency stress signal for assistance before a creature of unknown origin can consume her.

Battle-weary mercenaries Marshall (Mitchell) and Beckett (Jeremy Ninabar) receive Chloe’s distress signal and are hired to rescue the imprisoned scientist. But as they try to carry out their cover operation, the team is ambushed by another heavily armed militia group who wants inside the facility for themselves.
It doesn’t take long for the mercs to realize that they’re severely outnumbered and even when they do find entry into the bunker, they find themselves face-to-face with the creature while trying to locate Dr. Chloe within the underground maze of corridors. Interestingly, director and writer Matthew Ninabar will also play the terrifying monster in the movie!
