Like its title suggests, Slasher is the show that just won’t die. Originating on the now-defunct Chiller network, Slasher then moved to Netflix for two seasons before returning in 2021 on Shudder. Each season, the horror anthology features a new killer, characters, location, and storyline. Slasher is a really fun and entertaining series, especially for anyone who loves slasher movies. The series often pays homage to some of the most iconic slasher films.
One of the best parts about this show is how over-the-top the kills are. Since it is a series that revolves around serial killers and, well, slashers, you can bet the writers enjoy going above and beyond to create inventive kills. It seems like they try to top themselves each season, with the fourth season featuring some of the most brutal deaths of the entire series thus far.
Of course, one of the benefits of Slasher being an anthology is that if one season isn’t doing it for you, you can always switch around to another. The only commonality between the seasons is that some of the actors have returned for several seasons, but otherwise, you can watch the seasons in any order you like.
