Returning horror shows: Stranger Things

The hit Netflix show is set to return for its fourth season in 2022. Talking to Entertainment Weekly show creators and producers the Duffer Brothers said that the upcoming season is “shaping up to be the biggest and most frightening season yet.” Which doesn’t bode well for the much-loved characters, but may be just what the viewers are waiting for.

Stranger Things is expected to return to Netflix in mid-2022.

New horror shows: 1899

Described as a “multi-lingual epic period mystery-horror” 1899 is set to be pretty exciting release. Telling the of a group of European migrants setting off from London to begin new lives in New York, but when they encounter another ship adrift at sea, this quickly begin to descend into horror and disaster. With a cast of characters hailing from a number of European countries, each character will speak in the native language of the actor portraying them.

1899 is set to premiere on Netflix in mid-late 2022.

Returning horror shows: Locke & Key

The much-loved adaptation of Joe Hill’s comic book series is set to return for a third season in the new year. Talking to Digital Spy about the next installment, showrunner Carlton Cruse stated that “we have some incredible adventures in store for the Locke family in season three, and could not be more excited to continue telling our story.”

Locke & Key will return to Netflix for a third season in 2022.
