New sneak peek of Courteney Cox and Greg Kinnear in Shining Vale

Shining Vale is an upcoming horror-comedy series starring Courteney Cox, Greg Kinner and Mira Sorvino. Ahead of the show’s upcoming March premiere date, STARZ has unveiled a sneak peek clip at the chilling half-hour series created by Jeff Astrof (Trial & Error, Ground Floor) and Sharon Hogan (Divorce, Catastrophe).

Premiering on March 6, 2022, Shining Vale is about a dysfunctional family that relocates from the city to a small town, specifically a house where many atrocities have taken place in the past. As any horror fan knows, it’s never a good idea to move into a place like that.

But no one really notices except Patricia “Pat” Phelps (Cox) a former “wild child” who rose to fame by writing a raunchy women’s empowerment novel. Pat believes she is either going crazy, possessed, or maybe even depressed by the strange happenings inside the house, which happens to be named Shining Vale.

Nearly two decades later, Pat is sober and unfulfilled. She still hasn’t written her second novel and she and her husband Terry (Kinnear) haven’t had sex in ages. Plus, her kids are now teenagers and hardly give her the time of day. Even worse, Pat had an affair with a young handyman. Moving into this old house in the suburbs is the last-ditch effort for Pat and Terry to save their marriage.

Apart from Kinnear and Cox, Sorvino stars as Rosemary, a woman who might be Pat’s alter ego, her muse, or maybe even an evil demon. Gus Burney, Dylan Gage, Merrin Dungey, Sherilyn Fenn and Judith Light also star.

In the latest clip shared by STARZ, you can see Pat and Greg touring their new home, courtesy of Fenn’s over-exuberant character. Pat immediately appears at odds with the house, complaining about the frigid temperature (probably because of all the ghosts hanging around?).
