We’ve got great news for Jordan Peele fans. Peele’s upcoming Nope movie is finally getting a trailer very soon. The full trailer release will premiere during Super Bowl Sunday, but ahead of that, we got a sneak peek at the Nope movie view some very brief footage tucked into a first-look video at the cast Peele has assembled for his next project.

Nope (2022) is the highly-anticipated follow-up to Peele’s previous films Get Out and Us, both of which he directed. His next movie will reunite Peele with Daniel Kaluuya alongside Steven Yeun and Keke Palmer.

Nope movie first look

When we say “first look” we truly mean a first look. The footage from Nope is minimal, showing just three brief shots of the movie’s lead actors, Kaluuya, Yeun and Palmer, all looking up at the sky in abject terror.

You can check out the trailer for the trailer below as Universal Pictures advertises that fans can see what’s next from the genius mind of the man who brought us Get Out and Us. You’ll see the brief tease for the Nope movie trailer at the very end of the clip.

While Universal did reveal plot points for Peele’s past films, it looks like they’re trying very hard to keep the plot for Nope under wraps. It’ll be interesting to see just how much the trailer reveals. Based on the poster, which shows an ominous cloud overhead, and the shot of the stars all looking toward the sky, I’m assuming Nope will center on some kind of threat incoming from above.

Nope movie release date

Nope will be released in theaters by Universal Pictures on July 22. Right now, it looks like the movie will have an exclusive theatrical release.
