Let’s start with the houses, of which six are originals:

The Weeknd: After Hours Nightmare (also featured at Universal Studios Hollywood’s HHN) – The award-winning artist worked with Universal Studios to create an eerie abode based on his After Hours album. As tunes from the album play, guests will be submerged into an atmosphere filled with frightening characters and horrifying themes.

Halloween (also featured at Universal Studios Hollywood’s event) – Step back into the original 1978 film that introduced us to Michael Myers, and try to escape the masked killer as he stalks you, knife in hand.

Universal Monsters: Legends Collide (also featured at Universal Studios Hollywood’s event) – Iconic Universal monsters The Wolf Man, The Mummy and Dracula will place guests firmly in the middle of their battle to find an amulet they believe will break their respective curses.

The Horrors of Blumhouse (also featured at Universal Studios Hollywood’s event) – Fans of Blumhouse’s Freaky and The Black Phone are sure to love this house. As teenager Millie and the serial killer she has switched bodies with fight to the death, guests are caught in the middle. Then, you must work to escape The Grabber’s basement as you are submerged into the world of The Black Phone.

Spirits of the Coven – Welcome to a 1920s speakeasy that holds a dark secret. Those gorgeous flappers located throughout the speakeasy are actually evil witches determined to turn their victims into a local brew.

Bugs: Eaten Alive – In a 1950s version of the home of the future, guests are beset by thousands of disgusting insects. Ugh, gives me the chills just thinking about it!

Fiesta de Chupacabras – The legend of the Chupacabra is brought to life in this house, set in a tiny village that holds many secrets. Can you escape with your life?

Hellblock Horror – A secret penitentiary is home to monsters and fiends, and they want to take over the world. The power holding these horrible inmates has failed to do its job, and the creatures are now after you.

Dead Man’s Pier: Winter’s Wake – A long-dead sea captain has shown up in a New England fishing village, bringing undead fishermen with him. If you survived the Dead Man’s Wharf scare zone in 2016, you are familiar with these creatures, but can you escape their hooks yet again?

Descendants of Destruction – In the tunnels of a long-abandoned toxic city, creatures who used to be human fight to survive. As you make your way through the darkness, you must avoid the ones who have gone the deepest into the earth.

Halloween Horror Nights is featuring five Scare Zones

Horrors of Halloween – Ghosts, demons and witches inhabit this Scare Zone, which features the Pumpkin Lord, who is the spirit of Halloween.

Scarecrow: Cursed Soil – Walk through an old abandoned farm, where scarecrows are on the loose, hunting humans and seeking vengeance.

Sweet Revenge – Major Sweets’ candy company formulated Halloween treats that turned children into maniacs in the 1950s. Dare to walk through the streets while being chased by the tiny costumed creatures.

Graveyard: Deadly Unrest – On Halloween night, a storm brings back the spirits located in a cemetery. As the ghosts rise from the ground, they are looking to capture your soul.

Conjure the Dark – Enter the stone ruins inhabited by a wicked sorceress who calls out to monsters from every dimension. But, these monsters need to be fed, and your blood is the sustenance they desire.

Live Shows:

Halloween Nightmare Fuel Wildfire – Last year’s show is back, sporting an all new nightmare performance. Let the sounds of electronica, rock and metal enter your soul as you observe aerial performers and a pyro show.

Ghoulish! A Halloween Tale – After dark, visit the Universal Studios’ lagoon, where you will go beyond the grave. Watch a thrilling show featuring spooky music and gigantic water screens.
