Pinhead, Ginger Minj and a deadly meme coming to Huluween

Hulu has yet to release its entire Huluween roster, but they have given us a bit of a teaser with a short list of original content coming to us for the spooky season.
This year’s Huluween will include animation, drag, a modern creature feature, a new take on an iconic horror movie and “The Mother of all evil.”
Huluween Dragstravaganza is a variety show that will feature famous drag superstars Monet X Change and Ginger Minj in a show comprised of sketch comedy, original musical numbers and top notch surprise guests. We are promised an “A-List musical guest” and appearances that will thrill horror fans.
*Fun fact: Ginger Minj will also be appearing in the upcoming Hocus Pocus 2.
Huluween Dragstavaganza will premiere on October 1.
Hulu animated series Solar Opposites brings us A Sinister Halloween Scary Opposites Solar Special. Solar Opposites is the story of a family of aliens who have crash landed on Earth, where they are basically stuck. Sometimes that’s a good thing, and sometimes not so much.
There is not a lot of info available about the plotline of the Halloween Special, but you can find out all about it when it premieres October 3.
Probably the most highly anticipated Huluween debut is that of Hellraiser. In this reboot of the popular horror franchise, a young woman discovers a strange puzzle box. Though she doesn’t know it yet, the box has only one purpose: to bring the sadistic Cenobites into our world.
Director David Bruckner was also responsible for The Night House, and made the decision to cast Jamie Clayton (Sense8) in the iconic role of Pinhead. As a trans woman, her take on Pinhead, in the words of Bruckner, will “hit a little different.”
You can watch Hellraiser on Hulu beginning October 7.
Hulu original Grimcutty proves the internet is dangerous this Huluween.
In Hulu original Grimcutty, parents think an internet meme referred to as Grimcutty is causing teenagers to harm themselves and others. Teen Asha Chaudry is attacked by a real-life version of the terrifying meme, and her parents think an internet challenge resulted in her self-harming. Now Asha must not only try to get through to her parents, but survive Grimcutty.
Grimcutty premieres on October 10.
The Paloni Show Halloween Special comes to us from Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland. Reggie, Leroy and Cheruce Paloni are thrilled to be named hosts of a spooky season special chock full of chilling animated shorts from up-and-coming animators.
The Paloni Show Halloween Special makes its debut on October 17.
Matriarch is another Hulu original film. When Laura nearly does from an overdose, she leaves her high-pressure job in advertising to move back home with her estranged mother in a small English Village. Soon enough, Laura finds that the residents of the secluded town hold a deep, dark secret.
Matriarch will join the Huluween schedule on October 21.
