Brutal horror-thriller The Retaliators releasing on Blu-ray

If you have heard people rave about The Retaliators, you’ll be glad to know that you will soon have the chance to see the violent, brutal film for yourself. From what I’ve heard, fans of gore should really love this one.
Better Noise Films has just announced the Blu-ray release of The Retaliators, which has been described by iconic horror magazine Fangoria as “80s action vibes soaked in Spaghetti Western roots.” The violent revenge horror-thriller was inspired by the true story of a woman’s battle for survival, and features music and cameo appearances by a lot of really well-known rock musical performers.
Keep your eyes peeled for Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch’s Zoltan Bathory, Ivan Mood and Chris Kael, Jaya of the Hu, Spencer Charnas (Ice Nine Kills) and Eva Under Fire’s Amanda Lyberg.
The original score comes to us from Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon, who composed the score for Stranger Things, and are Emmy Award winners.
I first heard about The Retaliators on the Civil Gore podcast, where the hosts Tim and Brian raved about the bloody, violent film. Further research showed that they were not alone in their enthusiasm.
The Retaliators tells the story of Pastor John Bishop (Michael Lombardi, Rescue Me), whose daughter has been brutally murdered. On a quest to seek vengeance for her death, Bishop finds himself pulled into the dark underworld it turns out his daughter was involved with.
The film also features Marc Menchaca (Ozark), Joseph Gatt (Game of Thrones) and Papa Roach front man Jacoby Shaddix in his acting debut.

If you love the soundtrack, it’s now available from Better Noise Music, and features songs from Five Finger Death Punch, Tommy Lee, Papa Roach, Eva Under Fire, From Ashes to New, Crossbone Skully and many more hard-hitting rock bands.
The Retaliators will be available on Blu-ray February 21, and can be purchased at most major retailers, including Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart.
