Fright Rags rolls out new Evil Dead Rise and Joe Bob Briggs merchandise
By Carla Davis
Any horror fan worth his or her salt most likely owns at least one Fright-Rags shirt. It’s practically a rite of passage for those of us whose film taste is a bit…well, bloody.
I took a look at their recent inventory of collections, and found everything from Alfred Hitchcock to Zombie Wars, and their selections update regularly. There is also a sale section for those of us on a budget.
Fright-Rags’ most recent new merchandise lines are for two big names returning this week: Evil Dead and Joe Bob Briggs. The new film Evil Dead Rise opens on Friday, April 21, which is the same date The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs’ fifth season premieres on Shudder.
For Evil Dead Rise, Fright-Rags is offering up five official t-shirt designs, including a baseball tee and styles for both men and women. There’s even a cheese grater design! And if you love the scene in the trailer where the creepy possessed mom states, “Mommy’s with the maggots now,” you can wear that phrase proudly upon your chest.
Fright-Rags continues its collaboration with The Last Drive-In
There’s even more merchandise available for fans of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs. The new collection includes that awesome season five art on t-shirts for men and women, baseball tees and hoodies, along with a five-button set, Joe Bob and Darcy socks, and a set of six retro puffy stickers.
Fright-Rags also has prior Joe Bob Briggs merchandise still available, with a few styles on sale. Choose from Monstervision, Darcy, Honey, Yuki, John Brennan and Vicious Vegas Valentine shirts.
On April 28, Fright-Rags will begin taking orders for three brand-new Halloween action figures. Figures featuring Dr. Loomis, Sheriff Bracket and Annie will ship sometime this summer. You can add these to the previously released figures of Michael Myers, Lynda and Laurie Strode. These 3.75” scale retro figures each include accessories and will be sent in retro-style packaging.
