Ghost Adventures will be back for an all-new season this month, and the first episode will take the team to Nevada’s Lake Mead, site of the Hoover Dam. That episode will receive a special kickoff, followed by the remainder of the season on Discovery Channel.

It will be the 24th season for Ghost Adventures, which began life on Travel Channel in 2008. Since 2021, the series has been presented on Discovery+.

The Ghost Adventures team is made up of paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Jay Wasley and Billy Tolley, and together the team members try to capture as much evidence as possible at locations that are reported to be haunted. After touring the area with the property owners or caretakers, they later return to the most active areas with night-vision cameras and other electronic equipment to perform a full-on paranormal investigation.

Ghost Adventures is one of the most popular series on Travel Channel; it was cable’s #1 non-sports / news program in its time slot amongst men age 25 – 54 last season, and Discovery states that “More than 10 million passionate fans” watched.

Ghost Adventures’ Zak Bagans had this to say about the upcoming season:

"“Fans can expect insane investigations and mountains of paranormal evidence this season…I’m grateful to be able to expand the reach of what Ghost Adventures has always set out to do – build a better understanding of the afterlife.”"

When does the new season of Ghost Adventures begin?

The paranormal party will kick off on Wednesday, May 31 at 10:00 p.m. ET with a two-hour episode. The premiere, titled Ghost Adventures: Lake of Death will take our adventurers to the shores of Lake Mead, where a spirit that induces anxiety works its spell on Zak Bagans.

Later episodes will see the team investigating reports of the paranormal at LA’s Barclay Hotel, Mentryville, California (which was the state’s first oil boomtown), Nevada’s The Commercial Casino and Hotel and LA’s Longfellow-Hastings Octagon House (said to be chock-full of poltergeist-type activity).
