We now know if FROM season 3 is happening (It is!)
Hey, FROMily. Have you been on pins and needles after season 2’s shocker of an ending hoping MGM+ wouldn’t do us dirty and leave the series like that? Ditto. Which is what makes what they announced today such welcome news: FROM season 3 is happening!
Thank you, MGM+, for renewing FROM for another season!
Because let’s face it. There are still residual questions from season 1. And now season 2 has gone and added a whole bunch more. Off the top of my head, here are the ones that will plague me until the series returns:
- Who are those other little ghost kids? And what does “Anghkooey” mean?
- Who is the Boy in White, and why did he push Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) out of the lighthouse? And what did he mean by “This is the only way?” when he did it?
- Where is Tabitha now?
Heck, the announcement that the sci-fi horror series has been renewed is even sparking questions. Let’s see if we have any answers for those.
When can we expect FROM season 3 to start streaming?
According to MGM+, “the series is set to return in 2024.”
How many episodes will FROM season 3 have?
The same amount that seasons 1 and 2 have had: 10.
Is FROM MGM+’s biggest hit series?
Almost.
MGM+ says FROM is “the second-most viewed series in the history of the premium network, behind the Emmy-winning Godfather of Harlem, starring Forest Whitaker and co-created by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein (Narcos).”
Can we trust the head of MGM+?
MGM+ recognizes they have a hit on their hands. As Michael Wright, the head of MGM+, said, “The first two seasons of FROM captivated critics and terrified and engaged fans, who have formed a thriving online community that is trying to put the pieces together week by week as the secrets of the nightmarish town—and possibly beyond—are slowly revealed.”
Slowly is right.
Although to be fair, one big question was sort of answered this season: the symbol Jade (David Alpay) was obsessed with. That’s what the Anghkooey Kids saw in the ceiling when they were strapped to the tables in the tunnel.
But what happened to those kids?
“We can’t wait for fans to see the surprises ahead in Season Three, which promises more scares and mysteries, but also more answers,” Wright also said.
I’ll take your word for it, Mr. Wright.
