Hold onto your hats, Halloween Horror Nights fans, another haunted house has been announced for this year’s event in Orlando!

Already announced for Halloween Horror Nights Orlando is a house themed around the hit HBO Max series The Last of Us, and now we are told we can look forward to one based on season four of Stranger Things.

Stranger Things is one of the most successful Netflix series, thanks to its nostalgic 80s-horror feel. I always describe it as a mash up of Goonies, Alien and ET.

The house will take us to Hawkins, Indiana, where Eleven, Max, Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Will, Nancy and Steve are joined by their new friend Eddie. All of the horrific elements of the series’ fourth season will be there, including the terrifying Vecna and the Upside Down. The Creel House, the sinister Hawkins Lab, demobats, and even Vecna’s trippy mindscape will be at your disposal.

Says Lora Sauls, Assistant Director of Creative Development and Show Direction at Universal Orlando Resort:

"“We’re excited for our fans to live Vecna’s curse as we recreate the iconic and terrifying moments from the show.”"

For the 2023 event, Orlando guests have 48 nights to choose from at Halloween Horror Nights. The terror begins on Friday, September 1 and runs through Sautday, November 4 on select nights. Event tickets, including Frequent Fear and Rush of Fear Passes are now on sale. Also available are Express Passes, which I personally (and highly) recommend. They generally cost more than the event ticket, but they get you through the lines (which can be very long) quickly. There’s a lot of value to that, because without an Express Pass, it is nearly impossible to visit all of the houses in one night.

If that’s not enough eerie excitement for you, there are also Scare Zones and tour options, which include the RIP Tour and a daytime Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour. You can get your tickets here.

Not close enough to Florida to make it to Halloween Horror Nights this year? Universal Studios Hollywood will host their own event from September 7 through October 31.

More haunted houses will be announced soon, and 1428 Elm will give you the info as soon as it hits our hot little hands!
