Tubi has more Tubi Original thrillers coming up in September, along with some good horror additions to their always-expanding library. There aren’t as many new additions as I would have expected since this is the month before Halloween, but maybe that means there are some great things in store for October!

Here’s what you can catch on Tubi in September:

September 15:

Deadly Midwife (Tubi Original) – Lauren and Anthony’s midwife mysteriously disappears, but no worries…they found a new one. But something isn’t right with their replacement.

September 22:

Accused (Tubi Original) – Harri finds his life in upheaval after internet sleuths accuse him of being a terrorist. It’s not true, but Harri soon finds himself the victim of a home invasion due to the accusations.

Horror additions to the Tubi library:

30 Days Of Night – A band of vampires gets the brilliant idea to invade a small town in Alaska that won’t see daylight for a month.

Anatomy – The highest-grossing German film in 2000, Anatomy is about a young medical student who is intrigued by strange marks on the body of someone she knows. She ends up stumbling into a secret society that performs torturous experiments on the living.

Anatomy 2 – Paula is back in this 2003 sequel, investigating the Anti-Hippocratic society thought to be disbanded after the events in the first film.

Bones – In this homage to 1970s’ blaxploitation films, Snoop Dogg plays a murdered numbers-runner named Jimmy Bones. Bones returns from the dead to seek revenge on those who wronged him.

Evil Dead II – Basically a reboot of the first Evil Dead Film made with a bigger budget, Evil Dead II sees Ash (Bruce Campbell) and his girlfriend take a romantic trip to a cabin in the woods, where they discover a strange book.

Tubi in September - Sinister

Get Out – This is the film that made Jordan Peele a household name in horror. When Rose brings her Black boyfriend Chris to meet her family in upstate New York, he quickly suspects (rightfully so) that something sinister is going on.

Halloween (2018) – Laurie Strode has spent the past 40 years suffering the traumatic effects of her brief time with Michael Myers. When Michael escapes from the institution he has been living in, Laurie knows he will come after her.

Idle Hands – Devon Sawa appears as Anton, a lazy teen so pot-addled that he doesn’t even notice when his parents disappear. Eventually, he and his friends begin to realize that his hand is possessed, and committing murders.

It (Stephen King’s – 1990) – In this beloved miniseries, the town of Derry, Maine is tormented by an evil clown named Pennywise.

Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark – This anthology horror film is based on the very popular series of kids’ books by Alvin Schwartz.

Sinister – This is a dark film about a true crime author named Ellison (Ethan Hawke) who moves his family into a house, knowing of its gruesome history. He does not share this information with his wife and kids, but they figure it out soon enough.

The Last House On The Left – I can’t tell from the press release whether this is the original 1972 version, or the 2009 remake, but you can’t go wrong either way. A couple of teenaged friends are taken and assaulted by a group of sadistic criminals, and one of the girls’ families seek bloody revenge.

The Strangers – One of my favorite home invasion films, The Strangers stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman as a couple staying in a vacation home after attending a wedding. The two are on the verge of a breakup, but that doesn’t matter when three murderous strangers show up at their door.

Vacancy – Luke Wilson and Kate Beckinsdale are a couple who make the unwise decision to stay at a roadside motel when their car breaks down.

Vacancy 2: The First Cut – In this direct-to-video prequel, we get the back story to the creepy motel.
