Watch the season premiere trailer for Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror
By Carla Davis
As 1428 Elm informed our readers last month, Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror is returning to Travel Channel in October, with all new episodes debuting every week throughout the month. Now Travel Channel has released the trailer for the first episode of the new season.
Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror opens the season with an episode titled Glen Tavern Inn, and Jack’s guest is his mother Sharon Osbourne. The century-old Glen Tavern Inn is located in Santa Paula, California in the Santa Clara River Valley.
Listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the hotel was built in 1911, during which time Santa Paula was a prosperous oil town. It soon became popular with the stars and film professionals of Hollywood.
Over the years since, the hotel was used as World War II housing for government employees, and became what was basically a flophouse in the 1960s. It was renovated in the early 2000s, and though part of it was damaged in a 2006 fire, the burnt portion was restored.
Due to it’s dramatic past history, The Glen Tavern Inn is supposedly haunted, and has been featured in episodes of Ghost Adventures and The Dead Files, so it’s no surprise that Jack Osbourne wanted to visit it to see for himself what haunting activity he may experience.
Sharon Osbourne is conflicted about her belief in the paranormal, but during the opening episode of Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror, she becomes convinced that there is an evil presence at the Inn. According to the press release:
"“Sharon lands in the crosshairs of one of the Inn’s most volatile entities, an angry and oppressive male spirit known for overtaking female guests – ending in a still unexplained medical mystery.”"
Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror season premiere debuts on Travel Channel on October 1, at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Celebrity guests during the remainder of the season will include Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne, Jason Mewes, Jenny McCarthy and Jamie Kennedy, all of whom will join Jack in all-night paranormal investigations. The two-part season finale will include the Osbourne family, as they conduct multiple investigations at an old Nevada town with a history.
