Release date FINALLY announced for Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor!

Terror Films and Shudder have teasing us for the past few months about the upcoming release of the highly-anticipated Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor. Now a date has finally been announced, and fans of the Hell House LLC horror franchise can mark their calendars.

Stephen Cognetti wrote and directed the first three films, and repeated those duties for the newest installment. A series of low-budget found footage horror films, the Hell House LLC  franchise has acquired quite a devoted following over the years.

Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor will make its debut as an official selection for the 14th annual Telluride Horror Show before moving on to Shudder

Telluride runs from October 13 to October 15th, and touts itself as “Colorado’s first and largest horror film festival.” After its Telluride run, Carmichael Manor will screen at the IFC Center Theater in New York City.

So, when will Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor begin streaming on Shudder?

The film will exclusively stream on Shudder beginning on October 30 as part of their “Devil’s Night” premiere. After that, it will be available to watch on demand.

Cognetti stated:

"“Although this is the fourth film in the Hell House LLC series, I want fans to know that this is not a ‘part 4’ or a prequel. In making the Carmichael Manor, I wanted to create an original story within the Hell House LLC universe yet set it in the present day instead of making a precursor to the original trilogy. As a filmmaker, the Carmichael Manor allowed me to explore some of the themes and origins from the hotel’s mythology, while introducing new characters and mysteries surrounding the events that took place in 1989 in a stand-alone origin story, one of several I hope to create.”"

The storyline is set in 2021, and introduces us to a group of internet sleuths who decide to visit the secluded Carmichael Manor in the woods of Rockland County, NY. It was there that unsolved murders were committed in 1989, and the team comes up close and personal with the terror that has lurked there ever since.
