What actors are starring in Mike Flanagan’s The Life of Chuck?

Fans of Mike Flanagan will be pleased to know that his upcoming film The Life of Chuck is able to go into production, thanks to his SAG-AFTRA interim agreement. The film will be based on the Stephen King novella of the same title, which was included in his collection If It Bleeds.

The novella The Life of Chuck is broken into three “acts”, which follow Chuck throughout his lifetime. Two other stories in If It Bleeds were also acquired for film adaptations – Mr. Harrigan’s Phone was made into a Netflix film, and Ben Stiller has acquired rights for Rat. Stiller plans to produce, direct and star in his adaptation.

A handful of stars were already announced, but in a recent Twitter thread, Flanagan announced several more of the actors who will be appearing in The Life of Chuck. Buckle up, kids, this is going to be a star-studded cast!

Flanagan often uses the same tried and true actors in his projects, and The Life of Chuck is no different. Surprisingly, there is no mention of Henry Thomas, who has appeared in many of Flanagan’s works, including The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher.

That said, stars confirmed to be appearing in The Life of Chuck include the following:

Tom Hiddleston (The Avengers, Crimson Peak)

Mark Hamill (who recently appeared in Usher)

Chiwetel Ejiofor (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Firefly)

Karen Gillan (Oculus)

Jacob Tremblay (Doctor Sleep, Before I Wake)

Taylor Gordon – This will be Taylor’s acting debut, she is currently Instagram famous, and known for her phenomenal drumming.

Mia Sara (Birds of Prey)

Benjamin Pajak – A child actor, he currently has only a few acting credits. That will no doubt change soon!
