The hit MGM+ series From is now airing its third season and fans are as captivated as ever. Each week the show delivers more compelling mysteries about the town where people get stuck after stumbling upon a fallen tree.
Given how addictive From is to watch, it's no surprise that fans are constantly looking to satiate their appetite for more mind-bending shows just like it! Below we've listed five series that are fantastic and that you can binge between new episodes of From.
Teacup
The newest addition to this list is a captivating horror series airing on Peacock about a group of stragglers who get stuck on a homestead and Georgia amid a power surge and other strange happenings. In this case, the people on the farm include a family and their neighbors, but when a man wearing a gas mask shows up and paints a blue line around the area, they soon make a horrific discovery about what it means to step over the line.
Lost
Out of all of the shows on this list, Lost is probably the most popular and influential of the bunch. And we'd be remiss not to mention it since From and Lost share the same producers. From is similar to Lost in that it features a bunch of people stuck in one place, it's just this time it's a weird little town instead of an island. If you've never gotten the chance to watch Lost, it's an absolute must.
Westworld
Unfortunately for us fans of Westworld, the HBO series was canceled after four seasons, but that's still more than a lot of series get. While the creators didn't get to wrap things up the exact way they intended, I still highly recommend checking out Westworld, especially if you're into more sci-fi stuff. The series is based on the 1973 film and revolves around a "theme park" of sorts for the wealthy that is populated by hyper-intelligent android "hosts," that soon appear to gain sentience.
Severance
One of Apple TV+'s most popular series of all time, this psychological thriller takes the idea of a company "severance" program to a new degree. It centers on the idea of an employee (Adam Scott) testing out something new that will separate his work memories from non-work ones. The show received 14 nominations at the Emmys and will finally return for its second season in January 2025.
Dark
A German show on Netflix, Dark became incredibly popular due to its twisted and compelling storytelling. This isn't the type of show you can watch while you're scrolling your phone or doing something else. It requires your full attention and then some. There are entire websites dedicated to unraveling the story at the center of this excellent series, but the best part is that the writers/creators knew what they were doing from the jump, so you really get a fully finished masterpiece here.
