In this film, Hillary Swank plays a former Christian missionary who has lost her faith following the deaths of her family members. Now anti-religion, she spends her time debunking various religions. So when biblical plagues begin to ravage a small town, she heads out there to prove that nothing paranormal is going on. Of course, things don’t work out that way once she gets there…

Watching this film is interesting because it takes us back ten years, before David Morrissey and Idris Elba would make much bigger names for themselves. The acting is top notch and the film is pretty entertaining, and worthy of a watch.
