Netflix hits hard into the horror movie genre with this very unique flick. Kate Siegel stars as Maddie, a deaf mute living in a very remote home in the woods. She seems to be a very easy target for a masked intruder who shows up to break his way in.

Things aren’t quite what they seem, however. Maddie turns out not to be the easy victim the intruder mistook her to be. It becomes apparent she’s much more capable of defending herself than it appears and gives the would-be killer a very hard time.

Critics all agree that Hush is one of the best horror movies to come out in recent years. It’s currently holding an impressive 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. For any horror film to achieve that is truly remarkable. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, you should really give it a watch.
