Four female filmmakers team up to tell four short stories for the horror anthology film XX. Shorts included are “The Box”, “The Birthday Party”, “Don’t Fall”, and “Her Only Living Son.” Each has the distinction of being helmed by an up and coming female director for a horror anthology giving it a unique feel.

With each short running around twenty minutes or so, it’s very reminiscent of Tales from the Crypt or Tales from the Darkside. Watching the movie is like binging some never before seen episodes of an awesome horror show. If that sounds up your alley, you’ll want to check this one out.
