Halloween is right around the corner! If you've been procrastinating with your plans to marathon horror movies, this weekend is the time to rectify that. From classic titles to newer hits, Prime Video has an abundance of horror movies and series available.

It's time to get creepy and sleep with the lights on. Here are six movies now streaming on Prime that are ideal for Halloween viewing.

1. Suspiria (1977) & Suspiria (2018)

Suspiria is not only considered a classic horror film, it's also one of the best from Italian filmmaker Dario Argento. It's a masterpiece known for its grotesque body horror and vibrant color scheme. In 2018, Luca Guadagnino managed to do something quite impressive: make a good remake of an iconic film that stands out on its own. Both are now on Prime Video and definitely worth watching.

2. Terrifier & Terrifier 2

The mischievous and menacing Art the Clown is on his way to becoming a modern horror icon and these feature films from Damien Leone are imperative to watch before diving headfirst into the franchise's newly-released third film. Art is the main draw to Terrifier, but there's no denying that horror fans love the over-the-top gory spectacle of these movies. Because Leone isn't beholden to any major studio, he's free to do whatever he wants in these unrated movies, leading to infamous scenes like the hacksaw death scene and the bedroom scene in the sequel. Terrifier 3 tops both of those in the most frightening outing yet.

3. Tales of Halloween

There's something really charming about a horror anthology movie like Creepshow or Urban Legend, but people tend to forget about Tales of Halloween. Featuring Adrienne Barbeau as a radio DJ commentating the ten different stories, this comedy-horror flick takes on various Halloween legends and lore with a dark twist. Admittedly, it's not as good as Trick 'r Treat despite the similar concepts, but it's still plenty of fun in its own right.

4. Night of the Demons

An abandoned funeral parlor doesn't sound like my idea of a good party location, but I'm not a teenager existing in a horror movie. When a group of friends decides that the parlor is the ideal place for a night of Halloween debauchery they soon discover they've made a grave mistake when demons within wake up and start possessing the partygoers. Even though Night of the Demons was overshadowed at release by new releases from popular horror franchises like Friday the 13th, it has become a cult classic and spawned multiple sequels.

5. Wolf Creek

Two backpackers and one hitchhiker head into the Australian wilderness to visit Wolf Creek and experience the adventure of a lifetime. It's just not the adventure they expected. The trio crosses paths with a seemingly charming mechanic named Mick Taylor that offers to help them on their journey. He actually has a more sinister agenda. A reboot is in the works with John Jarrett returning as Mick.

6. Doctor Sleep

Mike Flanagan is one of the best working directors today, but this particular movie, a follow-up to The Shining based on Stephen King's sequel novel of the same name, is often overlooked. It's an excellent film featuring an incredible performance from stars Rebecca Ferguson and Ewan McGregor. Taking place over 30 years after the original story, Doctor Sleep follows a grown Dan Torrance (McGregor) who is still deeply traumatized by the events that occurred at the Overlook Hotel when he was a child.
