The fifth episode opens with the Salem Seven witches on the hunt to find Agatha on The Witches' Road. The episode then cuts to Lilia suddenly waking up on The Road's grounds and letting the rest of her coven know she had a vision about the Salem Seven coming for them. According to Lilia, the Salem Seven were able to get access to The Road since they didn't close its door after doing the summoning spell.

Then, Lilia explains to the others who the Salem Seven witches are. When Agatha killed her original coven, she spared their children, and those kids-turned-adults formed their own coven. Their goal is to exact revenge on Agatha for killing their moms. As Lilia finishes her story, Agatha runs to the others in panic, letting them know they need to all run. But they don't get very far before coming to a halt since the Salem Seven have trapped them. With everyone lost on how to escape, Teen suggests they use brooms to fly away. While everyone initially disagrees with his idea, they quickly give in after hearing the Salem Seven witches screeching.

Everyone quickly grabs a tree branch and performs the ritual to turn them into flying broomsticks, but just as Teen and Alice are about to perform the ritual, one of the Salem Seven appears out of nowhere and attacks. Alice knocks the witch out, and she and the rest of the coven are able to make their escape. But just when they think they're in the clear, flying high in the sky away from The Road, The Road pulls them back down to the ground. Now that they're back on The Road, Teen sees a cabin up ahead. It's their next trial, but only if they can get to it.

As they near the cabin, another of the Salem Seven blocks their path. However, they're not a problem for long since Agatha and the others knock them out by flying at them. Now off their brooms, the coven quickly runs inside the cabin. Remember how The Road changes for the coven? In this trial, Agatha and everyone else are dressed in '80s attire.

The first trial was Jen's. The second trial was Alice's. Who's trial is the coven going through now? Agatha's! Since there's a blood moon, Rio was able to figure out it was Agatha's trial. According to Lilia, a blood moon appears when the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. Since Agatha killed so many people, Rio says that she's the best person to commune with the dead. Suddenly, an Ouija board falls to the ground, and the watches on everyone's wrists start beeping. The trial has officially begun.

In this trial, the coven must talk with the dead using the Ouija board, but six rules must be followed. After Teen explains all the rules, the coven begins playing with the Ouija board. Initially, the board spells out Mrs. Hart's name, and it looks like Agatha becomes possessed by her. But she isn't actually possessed. She was playing with everyone. After she stops with her shenanigans, the coven starts seriously playing with the Ouija board.

The next words the board spells out are "Death," "Punish," and "Agatha." Huh? Agatha starts freaking out and lets go of the planchette. But wait! That was one of the rules. Don't take your hand off the planchette. If so, a spirit will be released, and that's exactly what happens. While everyone's freaking out, Jen realizes what the Ouija board is trying to tell them. It wants them to punish Agatha, and if they do so, they'll pass the trial. As the coven prepares to "punish" Agatha, Agatha suddenly disappears, and the lights go out.

After looking around, they find a possessed Agatha on the ceiling. She falls to the ground and attacks Teen first before choking Jen. Lilia finds and flips the light switch, effectively turning back on the light. Apparently, a possessed Agatha doesn't like this and runs to hide. As everyone looks around for Agatha, they notice a ghost hovering over the stairs. The ghost introduces themselves as Evanora Harkness of the Salemites. It's Agatha's mother, and she was the spirit possessing Agatha!

Since spirits stuck in limbo usually have unfinished business, the coven believes that if they give Evanora what she wants, she'll leave for good. Evanora tells them that she wants Agatha to stay with her, but Rio isn't for it, which shocks the others since she was ready to slit her throat not too long ago. As Agatha pleads for her coven to take her with them, Evanora possesses her body again and rushes towards the other witches.

However, Alice swoops in and saves the day by somehow summoning her powers and targeting them at Agatha to expel Evanora from her body. But as soon as Evanora leaves her body, Agatha begins siphoning Alice’s powers. It looks like Agatha hasn't changed after all. As the other witches yell for Agatha to stop, the Ouija board on the ground starts moving again, spelling out a name.

Teen yells out the name it spells, "Nicholas Scratch," aka Agatha's son. Agatha immediately stops siphoning Alice's powers when she hears his name come from Teen's mouth and when she hears a young Nicholas's voice yelling for her to stop. But it's too late. Alice is dead. Agatha has killed her by taking all of her power and draining her life force. The clock starts beeping, and an exit out of the cabin appears. They've successfully completed the trial but lost a witch in the process.

Agatha leaves the cabin to enter back on The Road, where she secretly revels in getting her powers back, or should I say Alice's powers. Teen confronts her about killing Alice, and Agatha claims it was accidental. Teen doesn't believe her, though. Lilia and Jen walk past them and basically tell Teen that they can't entirely fault Agatha for doing what she did to get her powers back since that's what they all want.

Teen disagrees with their way of thinking, though, and he lets that clearly be known to Agatha. At this moment, it's like something clicks in Agatha's head. She tells Teen that he's so much like his mother. Huh? Teen becomes enraged by Agatha's words and blue magic starts crackling from his hands. With his magic, he possesses Jen and Lilia and orders them to grab Agatha before throwing her into a mud trap. After Agatha completely sinks into the ground, Teen uses his magic to hurl Jen and Lilia into a mud trap. They sink entirely into the ground as well.

The last scene of the episode shows Teen wearing a crown similar to Wanda's, aka the Scarlet Witch. Dun dun duuun! Teen's true identity has been revealed. He's one of Wanda's sons, Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan.
