All the horror and thrillers coming to Tubi in December
By Carla Davis
Tubi is back in December with more horror and thriller additions to their already vast library of films. Five new originals are hitting the streaming platform, along with some old favorites, so let’s see what Tubi has for us this month.
December 6:
Toxic Harmony – When a singer breaks away from her group to go solo, she thinks she has it made when she catches the eye of a big record label executive. But instead, she finds herself in danger.
December 13:
If I Go Missing – When a true crime follower’s best friend goes missing, she is determined to put her skills to work in order to find her.
December 18:
Swipe Left or Death – “Discover the chilling stories of ordinary people who fell victim to the dangers of online dating apps and suffered deadly consequences.”
December 20:
Adopted – A couple who have been desperate to adopt a child finds themselves terrified when their new son shows that he has a dark side.
December 27:
Til Death Do Us Part – A dedicated wedding planner discovers that a dangerous stranger has threatened to kill the wedding party of her best friend.
Bram Stoker’s Dracula – Gary Oldman plays the infamous vampire in this 1992 re-telling of the classic tale.
Child’s Play (2019) – This remake/reboot of the tale of Chucky features the voice talents of Mark Hamill, who plays the homicidal doll.
Fright Night – I am not sure if this is the original, or the remake, but either way, there are going to be vampires. You really can't go wrong either way, because the original is a classic, and the remake boasts an outstanding cast, including Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and Toni Collette.
Open Water – A couple are left behind while scuba-diving, and find themselves battling the elements, jelly fish and sharks.
Poltergeist II: The Other Side – Much of the original cast returned for the sequel to the 1982 blockbuster.
Poltergeist III – Zelda Rubinstein and Heather O’Rourke were the only two returning cast members for the third film in the franchise. Tragically, 12-year-old O’Rourke would die four months before the film’s premiere.
The People Under The Stairs – Wes Craven wrote and directed this 1991 horror comedy, about a young boy who ends up trapped in a house where children have been imprisoned by the depraved owners.
The Prodigy – A couple’s abnormally intelligent young son begins to show signs of psychosis, leading them on a journey to find out the reason for his deadly activities.
