After hitting theaters earlier this month, Blumhouse's new thriller flick Drop will finally make its digital debut tomorrow, giving fans a second chance to experience the suspense and thrills from the comfort of their own home. Or, maybe you didn't get the chance to see it on the big screen. Now’s your opportunity to catch up on the chilling excitement you missed!
Starting April 29, Drop will be available for rent or purchase on digital platforms like Prime Video, Fandango at Home, Apple TV+, and more. You can currently pre-order the film on these sites for $24.99, excluding taxes. While the exact pricing for its digital release has yet to be confirmed, it's expected that the purchase price will be around $24.99, with rental options likely priced around $19.99. This is similar to the pricing of a recent Blumhouse horror release, The Woman in the Yard, which followed comparable price points for its digital debut.
Also to come this June is Drop's physical media release. That's right! If you would rather own a hard copy, you’ll be able to grab the film on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on June 10, allowing you a chance to add it to your collection and enjoy the thrills on your own terms.

- FEATURE COMMENTARY WITH DIRECTOR CHRISTOPHER LANDON
Drop comes from Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity movies, Happy Death Day films), who directed the film from a script written by Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach. It stars Meghann Fahy as a widowed mother named Violet who, after deciding to get back into the dating world, finds herself trapped in a terrifying ordeal with an invisible tormentor. While enjoying herself on a date, Violet begins to receive disturbing, anonymous messages demanding that she do things or they'll harm her son and sister. The most chilling order of all: she must murder her date.
Brandon Sklenar joins Fahy as Violet's charming date, Henry Campbell. Also in the cast are Jeffery Self, Gabrielle Ryan Spring, Violett Beane, Jacob Robinson, Ed Weeks, Travis Nelson, and Reed Diamond.
Although not confirmed, a streaming release is expected to happen eventually. Drop will likely stream on Peacock first before making its way to Prime Video later. We'll get back to you with the streaming release date once it's announced.
