There’s a lot to love about the films that are being added to Shudder in February this year, including THE Valentine-themed horror movie. You know the one I mean, right? So without any further delay, let’s take a look at what we can watch on Shudder in February.

February 1:

My Bloody Valentine – Quick, what’s the first horror movie that comes to mind when Valentine’s Day is mentioned? Yes, the original My Bloody Valentine can be streamed on Shudder as of February 1. The town of Valentine’s Bluff hasn’t celebrated its namesake holiday for the past 20 years, which is when a mine collapse happened. The only survivor, Harry, had to resort to cannibalism, which understandably left him a little twitchy. Harry snapped and murdered the people he held responsible before he was captured and sent to an asylum. Now, the annual Valentine’s dance is returning, and some of the locals begin to be killed in gruesome ways.

My Animal – Heather, a teenage girl hiding a dark secret falls in love with a troubled figure skater named Jonny. But as her feelings for Jonny deepen, she has to learn to control the dark forces inside her.

The Sentinel – Fashion model Allison moves into an old brownstone in Brookly, then discovers the place is also home to the gateway to hell.

Sweetheart – When her boat sinks, Jenn must survive on a small island. That in itself would be hard, but things get even more difficult when it turns out a man-hunting creature is also in the area.

Unfriended: Dark Web – Matias thinks he was pretty lucky to find an abandoned laptop. All of that changes when it turns out there are snuff films on the computer, and it’s connected to the dark web.

February 3:

Hansel & Gretel – In this Korean film, siblings Hansel and Gretel must navigate the woods to find work and food. They happily accept when a woman makes them an offer that will help them sustain themselves…but there are consequences.

The Deadly Spawn – A meteor crashes to earth in a small town, and a human-eating alien within it seeks refuge in a basement as it grows larger. A group of teenagers work together to save the town and themselves.

Watch Me When I Kill – This 1977 giallo introduces us to a dancer named Mara, who witnesses a killer leave his murder scene. Fearing she may have seen his face, the killer stalks Mara, and she and her boyfriend try to figure out exactly what is going on.

Mosquito – Gunnar Hansen (who played Leatherface in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre) stars in this sci-fi/horror film. When a spaceship crashes in a national park, a mosquito bites the dead extraterrestrial pilot, which causes the bug to grow to human size. We know what that means!

Tombs of the Blind Dead – In this first film of the “Blind Dead” series, vacationing college students are stalked by sinister medieval knights turned zombies.
