Paramount+ is celebrating its annual “Peak Screaming” event for Halloween. The streamer not only has tons of iconic Paramount movies, but also many of its own originals for fans to stream. From Friday the 13th to Evil Dead, Sleepy Hollow, and more, the streamer is loaded with options for horror fans. PS - it’s also got family-friendly spooks for those with younger viewers, like Scooby-Doo! and Are You Afraid of the Dark?
To help celebrate this spookiest of seasons, Paramount+ sent 1428 Elm a special box full of tricks and treats! Read on to find out what it was like to explore the goodies inside!

You're presented with an ominous greeting...
When you first open the box, you’re greeted with an insidious message, offering you a wheel full of riddles with the inscription: Spin for your fate…Remember, what’s revealed cannot be unseen…Summon what lies beneath.
The wheel of riddles says, "What horror have the fates chosen?", and then you're offered five cryptic phrases.
1.) What's your favorite scary movie?
2.) Something you hate, need, and love, but choose wisely.
3.) Beware, the unseen never sleep.
4.) Silence isn't golden, it's survival.
5.) The new face of fear.

The box is loaded with fun goodies...that are actually clues!
When you open the box, there's five compartments filled with treats...that actually clues to the riddles.
First, a bath bomb shaped like the infamous Ghostface mask. Second, a collection of human fingers (that are actually pumpkin spice-scented soap!) In slot three is an eye mask and nighttime room spray. The fourth contains cozy socks, and lastly, in slot five there's mints and gummies shaped like smiling rows of teeth. Can you guess what the mystery movies are by the clues?

Luckily, all mysteries are revealed
Finally, the box comes with a card sayging, "Answers now revealed..." and it includes the answers to all the riddles and clues. Here they are in order:
1.) Scream (the ghostface bath bomb is a dead giveaway)
2.) Vicious (The fingers have meaning...but you'll have to watch Vicious to find out why!)
3.) Paranormal Activity (much of the movie takes place while they sleep, hence the eye mask)
4.) A Quiet Place (socks help make walking quieter)
5.) Smile (the smiling gummies!)
This was such a fun box to open because it wasn't just loaded with treats, it also created a fun puzzle to solve along the way. I will certainly be looking forward to what Paramount+ thinks up for next year.
