For the first time ever, the smash-hit supernatural horror film Talk to Me is streaming on Netflix U.S. It landed on the streaming platform on March 28. Released in theaters in 2023, the horror flick has been available to stream on Paramount+ for quite some time now. While it remains on that platform, it’s now also accessible on Netflix. But only for a limited time. A departure date hasn't been revealed yet, but it's best that you watch it as soon as possible before it leaves the platform. Don't worry. If you don't get the chance, it'll still be available on Paramount+.

Talk to Me comes from Danny and Michael Philippou, otherwise known as RackaRacka. They made their feature directorial debut with this Australian film that's equally disturbing and emotionally intense. Rising actress Sophie Wilde stars as Mia, a grieving teenage girl who becomes obsessed with a mysterious embalmed hand that allows people to communicate with spirits by holding it. What starts as a thrilling game between Mia and her classmates quickly spirals into a terrifying ordeal when things are taken too far and she inadvertently releases dark supernatural forces into the world.

As of March 31, Talk to Me is one of the most popular movies streaming on Netflix. It's currently ranked at the No. 3 spot on the streamer's top 10 movie list. But no one should be that surprised, really, because it was a hit with viewers and critics when it initially hit theaters back in 2023. Now the A24 horror film has gained even more momentum with its Netflix release, attracting a new audience. It has also caught the attention of old viewers, who are revisiting the film to watch all the best moments and/or catching the subtleties they may have missed the first time around.

With how everything wraps up in the supernatural horror, you're probably wondering if there will be a sequel. Well, you'll be glad to know that a sequel is in fact happening with A24 and the Philippou brothers back on board. Hinzman also returns to co-write the script with Danny. The sequel was announced shortly after the release of Talk to Me. The only information we know about the new movie at the moment is its title. The sequel has been given the title Talk 2 Me. The Philippou brothers also have a Talk to Me prequel short film set to be released in the future.

In addition to these two films, we can look forward to a completely different original horror movie from the creative twin brother duo and A24, slated to be released this summer.

Bring Her Back is coming to theaters in summer 2025

Bring Her Back is a horror film directed by Danny and Michael Philippou and written by Danny and Bill Hinzman. A24 will distribute the movie. Unlike the Talk to Me prequel and sequel, Bring Her Back has been given an official release date. It is scheduled to be released in U.S. theaters on Friday, May 30, 2025.

Not much is known about the plot, other than that the horror flick is said to follow a brother and sister who discover a chilling ritual at the isolated home of their new foster mother. Danny and Michael describe Bring Her Back as being "a lot more grim" and "gruesome" than Talk to Me. Michael also said the film leans more into the psychological. In addition, Sally Hawkins, Billy Barrat, Sora Wong, Jonah Wren Phillips, Sally-Anne Upton, Stephen Phillips, and Liam Damons are in the cast.
