It took a long time, but Netflix is finally adding Evil season 3 soon

One of the most confusing aspects of the streaming era is when shows are caught between services. That's the case with the popular Paramount+ TV series Evil, which streams in its entirety on Paramount+ but has also been available on Netflix in the past.
Previously, Netflix only streamed the show's first season. That changed earlier this year, with Netflix adding the series back, this time the first two seasons. Now 1428 Elm has learned Evil season 3 is coming to the streamer at the end of December, New Year's Eve, to be exact.
Anyone who watched Evil on Netflix already and has been dying at the end of that juicy season 2 cliffhanger and the will-they won't-they moment between David and Kristen has probably already said, "Screw it." and subscribed to Paramount+ to finish, but for the resilient ones who have been waiting for Netflix to follow up or who haven't started the show yet because not all episodes are available, at least you're closer to your goal!
Created by Robert and Michelle King, Evil is a compelling horror series about the intersection of faith and psychology, centering on a psychologist who works alongside a priest-in-training and a blue-collar worker to investigate supposed cases of demonic influence. The series ran for four seasons before it ultimately ended earlier this year.
Despite wanting the show to continue for additional seasons, the Kings were able to provide fans with a proper ending. Netflix viewers still won't get to see the ending yet, though, and it's unclear when it might become available. If I had to guess, I would suspect maybe sometime in 2025, or Paramount might retain the fourth season exclusively in the hopes that people who enjoyed Evil on Netflix will jump ship and start their Paramount+ sub to watch the conclusion.
The first two seasons of Evil are now on Netflix with season 3 arriving on December 31. All four seasons are streaming on Paramount+.
