A new season of Ghost Adventures is coming up on Discovery just in time for Halloween! The new season comes with an exclusive early debut, only on discovery+.
Ghost Adventures' new season will lead viewers on paranormal investigations with Zak Bagans, Billy Tolley, Aaron Goodwin and Jay Wasley, as they take us along with them to creepy buildings, a haunted amusement park and a former military base. This season, the thrills and chills are multiplied as the Ghost Adventures team is forced to confront evil entities and creepy supernatural happenings, all to get to the bottom of reported activity.
The Ghost Adventures series began in 2008, when it premiered on Travel Channel. In 2021, the series moved to Discovery+. Ghost Adventures initially entered the public eye in July of 2007, when an independent documentary aired on The SciFi Channel (now known as Syfy). In the film, the team investigated areas with reported activity in and around Virginia City, Nevada.
Bagans and his fellow investigators use modern technology and science as they attempt to get evidence that will either prove or disprove hauntings. Along the way, they also strive to more clearly understand what happens in the afterlife.
In the upcoming season of Ghost Adventures, the team will walk through an abandoned medical complex where “deeply disturbing activity” has been reported. They will also investigate a San Diego amusement park and investigate reports of portals and alien sightings on top of a mountain in Wyoming, plus more.
The new season of Ghost Adventures will debut on Discovery Channel Wednesday, October 29 at 11:00 p.m. ET.
Zak Bagans stated, ““This season we were inundated by an overwhelming amount of dark energy. No question, these are some of the most intense, jarring and disturbing investigations we have ever experienced. Every location is a paranormal powder keg, and many of them are breeding grounds for evil. We’ve encountered a lot in our years of doing this, but this is unlike anything we have seen or captured before.”
In the first episode, which runs two hours, the Ghost Adventures crew goes to Casper, Wyoming, which is generally considered to be a “supernatural hotspot.” While there, they will look into reports of alien sightings and abductions, as well as haunting activity said to be present in an abandoned military base.
Ultimately, they will end up at a haunted forest, where it is believed witches may have performed rituals that opened a portal.
