Guess what? Your Monster is now available to stream! This is really good news for people who didn't get the opportunity to see this film when it was in theaters back in 2024. With a limited theatrical release, it wasn't easy to catch, but it did eventually make its way to digital platforms in November of that year.
However, we know not everyone loves renting or buying movies online and prefers the convenience of streaming. In fact, these types of people probably skipped out on watching Your Monster altogether, waiting for the chance to catch it on their favorite streaming service. Well, the wait is finally over! This criminally underrated romantic horror-comedy is ready to be streamed from the comfort of your couch.
What streaming service is the movie available to stream on, you ask? Well, it'll be Max. The streamer released Your Monster on its platform on Jan. 24, 2025. However, don't go thinking that you can watch this movie on Max for free. You’ll need an active subscription. Max has a monthly plan, a yearly plan, and bundles. We broke down each one below so that you can decide which option works best for you.

Caroline Lindy, known for her work on short films, took a leap into directing her first feature with Your Monster, which is based on her own short film of the same name. She also wrote the script by herself. To bring her vision to life was Melissa Barrera, starring in the lead role of Laura Franco.
Barrera has made quite a name for herself in the horror world, even earning the title of scream queen thanks to her roles in the iconic slashers Scream, Scream VI and Abigail. In this new horror-comedy, she plays a young actress whose life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out she has cancer.
While she's recovering from surgery in the hospital, Laura's longtime boyfriend decides that her illness and the responsibility of caring for her are too much for him, and he breaks up with her. This puts Laura in a weird place as she never saw this coming. Now, she's left to navigate not only her recovery but also the emotional fallout of a relationship she thought was unshakeable.
Eventually, she begins to see a glimmer of hope when she encounters a monstrous creature living in her house. They form an unlikely bond, and as their bond deepens, the beast not only helps Laura rediscover her inner strength but also reclaim her voice. Portraying the monster residing in Laura's home is Tommy Dewey. You might know him from his previous role as Alex in the comedy-drama series Casual. Edmund Donovan, Kayla Foster, and Meghann Fahy are also part of the cast.
