An original six-episode crime thriller series will make its debut on AMC+ in August with the ripped from the headlines true crime story of Chloe Ayling. Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story was written and executive produced by Georgia Lester of Killing Eve.
Chloe is a British model who was kidnapped when she travelled to Milan, Italy for what turned out to be a fake modelling job. Once there, she was drugged and placed in a carryall bag, then transported to a farmhouse. She was held captive until she was finally released six days later. But what should have been a more or less happy ending was tarnished by accusations that she had set up the whole kidnapping scheme herself. Chloe later said she believed she was in part treated badly because of her job as a model. She said, “I do believe if my job was different, it wouldn’t be the same reaction.” In the scripted series, Chloe is played by Nadia Parkes (The Bastard Son & the Devil Himself).
During her captivity, Chloe was told that she would be sold online unless she was able to raise $300,000 as ransom.
In addition to the series, Sundance Now (which is owned by AMCN) will present a 3-episode true crime docu-series called Chloe Ayling: My Unbelievable Kidnapping. The docu-series will premiere on Thursday, September 25 on Sundance Now and AMC+, with all episodes available to view at that time.

Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story will make its premiere on Thursday, August 25
The first two episodes will be dropped on that date, and additional episodes will drop weekly each Thursday on AMC+.
