We have good news to report on Max's Original animated prequel series, Gremlins: The Wild Batch. The second half of the second season finally has a release date set on the streaming service. After releasing the first half of Gremlins: The Wild Batch back in October 2024, Max is slated to drop the last batch of episodes of the season this April.

The second half will feature five episodes, just like the first. All of the episodes will be released at once, so you don't have to worry about waiting week to week. You can binge-watch the entire second half at your own pace, enjoying everything without any interruptions. So, when exactly is the animated series set to make its return with its last episodes? That day would be Thursday, April 10, 2025. You might want to mark this date down because April already looks like a busy month for Max with the highly anticipated release of The Last of Us season 2. Luckily, the second installment of that series will be released three days after Gremlins: The Wild Batch part 2 drops. But still, with both releases so close to each other, you’ll want to plan your watch time wisely.

Gremlins: The Wild Batch is actually the second season of the Gremlins animated series from Tze Chun. He serves as showrunner and executive producer. The first season is titled Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. In the second installment, the story fasts forward a year. Gizmo, Sam, and Elle leave their home in Shanghai behind and head to San Francisco, where they pursue a new group of evil Mogwai. Along their journey, they encounter new supernatural creatures and meet some new people.

AJ LoCascio, Izaac Wang, and Gabrielle Nevaeh all return to voice their respective roles as Gizmo, Sam, and Elle. Also returning are Ming-Na Wen as Fong Wing, James Hong as Grandpa Wing, BD Wong as Hon Wing, and George Takei as Noggin. The rest of the voice cast is made up of Simu Liu, John Glover, Michael Paul Chan, Ronny Chieng, Keith David, Will Forte, Kelly Hu, Jimmy O. Yang, Timothy Olyphant, Robin Weigert, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Sung Won Cho.

Hopefully, Max will release an official trailer soon for the last batch of episodes. Of course, you can count on us to share it right away if it drops. But for now, stay tuned to 1428 Elm!
