All the horror movies slated to come to Amazon Prime Video in August 2024

Amazon has finally dropped its list of shows and movies coming to its streaming platform in August 2024. As expected, we've already looked over the list, and we noticed that there were many horror titles included.

Darkman (1990)

Frogs (1972)

Frogs centers around a wealthy and influential family with a blatant disregard for nature who finds themselves being picked off one by one in gruesome ways by various creatures such as amphibians, birds, insects, and reptiles during their Fourth of July celebrations. It's nature's way of exacting revenge on those who engage in activities that pollute and harm the environment.

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)

Prime Video release date: Aug. 1, 2024

Taking place one year after the events of I Know What You Did Last Summer, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer continues to follow Julie James (Jennifer Love Hewitt), who is still shaken up by the brutal murders of her friends last summer by the murderous fisherman with an iron hook.

After her college friend, Karla, wins a trip to the Bahamas and invites her and their friends, Julie looks forward to a relaxing vacation. However, things take a left turn when Julie begins receiving threatening text messages indicating that the fisherman killer is still alive and targeting her. Now, she and her friends must find a way to survive.

10 Cloverfield Lane (2016)

Prime Video release date: Aug. 24, 2024

10 Cloverfield Lane is a sci-fi horror flick revolving around a young woman who, after a car accident, wakes up in an underground bunker to find out from a mysterious man that a catastrophic event has left the outside world uninhabitable. However, the young woman is skeptical about the man's claims and believes that he kidnapped her. Determined to find out the truth, the young woman tries to find a way to escape the bunker.
