American Horror Stories dropping 5 new episodes as part of Huluween event
By Mads Lennon
Surprise! American Horror Stories is returning this fall, after all. Sadly, we won't get to see the parent series American Horror Story back this year, though it was renewed for a 13th season, but at least viewers can look forward to five new episodes of the spinoff to premiere during Hulu's annual "Huluween" event.
Deadline reports that the episodes will begin streaming on Tuesday, October 15, on Hulu or through the Hulu on Disney+ app for those who subscribe to the bundle. If you live in Canada, the series will also premiere on October 15 on Disney+. Expect the series on Disney+ internationally, too. You might need to check your local listings for exact dates and times. But it sounds like all five episodes will drop simultaneously.
Previously, American Horror Stories launched in the summer of 2021 with a seven-episode season before following up with an additional eight-episode sophomore season in 2022. The series returned with another batch of four episodes last year as part of its third season. Deadline mentions that the show is "now in its third installment," so the upcoming episodes might be part of season 3 or encompass a fourth season.
There is no story information on what to expect from the next crop of episodes either. All we know is the release date and casting. Below, you can read the list of stars who will appear in the five chilling new tales.
- Victor Garber
- Debby Ryan
- Henry Winkler
- Michael Imperioli
- Dyllón Burnside
- Jeff Hiller
- June Squibb
- Guy Burnet
- Jessica Barden
- Angel Bismark Curiel
On X (formerly Twitter), the American Horror Source account shared the teaser art for the upcoming episodes showing a woman in a straitjacket on a bed with a giant monster claw reaching out from under it toward her.
The five-episode Huluween event kicks off on October 15. Stay tuned to 1428 Elm for more details on all things American Horror Story and American Horror Stories as they become available!
