Ben Hardy and Mia Tomlinson joins cast of The Conjuring: Last Rites
Horror fans, we've just learned some new information about the upcoming supernatural horror film The Conjuring: Last Rites. Two actors have just been added to the movie's cast in undisclosed roles, Ben Hardy (Love at First Sight, The Girl Before) and Mia Tomlinson (The Beast Must Die, The Lost Pirate Kingdom). They join the previously announced cast that includes Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga.
The Conjuring: Last Rites will be the fourth and final installment in the main series of The Conjuring movies. The other movies that are part of the main series are The Conjuring (2013), The Conjuring 2 (2016) and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It (2021).
American filmmaker Michael Chaves is signed on to direct the horror flick. He previously helmed two movies in The Conjuring Universe, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It and The Nun II. David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring 2, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It) and James Wan (The Conjuring Universe) came up with the story for the fourth film, and Johnson-McGoldrick wrote the script. Additionally, Ian Goldberg and Richard Naing (The Nun II) have made revisions to the screenplay.
Wan is producing the movie alongside Peter Safran. They've been behind every film in The Conjuring Universe so far. So this isn't surprising. Unfortunately, plot details are still being kept secret at the moment. However, what we do know is that the fourth film will see Wilson and Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. They will be investigating more paranormal events. Once the movie's plot is revealed, we'll be sure to come back and share it with you.
The only other piece of information that's been revealed about The Conjuring: Last Rites is its release date. The supernatural horror flick is set to be released in theaters next year. The exact release date is Sept. 5, 2025. Make sure to save the date!
