Chucky star Jennifer Tilly joins the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

The beautiful and iconic Oscar-nominated scream queen Jennifer Tilly is about to seriously liven up the cast of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she joins the upcoming 14th season as a friend of Sutton Stracke, who has been on the show since season 10.

Tilly is far from the first actress to appear on Beverly Hills, but she's certainly an exciting casting addition. Long-time Beverly Hills viewers know that the actress has already appeared in a few episodes to pal around with her close friend Stracke.

Now, she's joining the show in a more official "friend of" capacity, and it sounds like she'll be featured more prominently this season. She recently retweeted a fan-taken video of her with the rest of the cast filming during a cast trip to Oceanside, California.

Tilly is one of two new additions to the long-running reality series along with Netflix's former chief marketing officer, Bozoma Saint John. The news comes on the heels of Crystal Kung Minkoff and Annemarie Wiley announcing their exits.

Even though fan feelings on the show have been mixed for several seasons, it certainly hasn't hurt the ratings. Entertainment Weekly reported that Beverly Hills season 13 was also the most-watched in the series' history, among the highest-viewed out of all the Housewives franchises.

Horror fans know her best as Tiffany Valentine from the Child's Play franchise. She's starred in all three seasons of the spinoff series Chucky (fingers crossed that SYFY will renew it for a fourth season!).

But Tilly has been acting for decades, starting in the 1980s and appearing in projects like Bound, Frasier, Modern Family, and her Academy Award-nominated role in the Woody Allen film Bullets Over Broadway. She's also notably lent her voice to many animated series and films like Hey Arnold!, Monsters Inc. and its spinoff Monsters at Work, and Family Guy.
