Beetlejuice (1988)

Max release date: Aug. 1, 2024

Before the sequel Beetlejuice Beetlejuice hits theaters in September, people will be able to watch the original 1988 classic on Max this August. The comedy-horror film centers around a recently deceased couple who find themselves trapped as ghosts inside their country house. When a quirky and eccentric family moves into the home, the ghost couple is desperate to scare them away, leading them to contact the mischievous bio-exorcist named Betelgeuse for assistance.

Pathology (2008)

Max release date: Aug. 1, 2024

Pathology stars Milo Ventimiglia as a brilliant medical student who, after joining an elite pathology program, discovers that his new peers are involved in a dark and twisted game in which they commit murders and then compete to determine the victim's cause of death. Alyssa Milano, Lauren Lee Smith, Dan Callahan, Michael Weston, Johnny Whitworth, Keir O'Donnell, and Larry Drake join Ventimiglia in the cast.

Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction season 1 

Max release date: Aug. 8, 2024

Alien Encounters: Fact or Fiction sees UFO experts Mitch Horowitz and Chrissy Newton use scientific data and research to investigate real-life encounters with extraterrestrial activity to see if there's some truth behind these otherworldly experiences.

Evil Lives Here season 16

Max release date: Aug. 25, 2024

Evil Lives Here sees people tell their horrifying true stories about living with loved ones who go on to commit heinous crimes.
