Paramount+ subscribers are in for a treat this month. The final season of Evil arrives alongside several Hellraiser movies and a new true crime documentary series. Horror fans should mark the following shows and films on their calendars to check them out as soon they begin streaming!

Evil season 4

  • Paramount+ premiere date: May 23

After waiting almost two whole years, the underrated and excellent Paramount+ horror series Evil is finally set to return on May 23! Previous seasons have followed a weekly release schedule, and the same will be true here, with episodes releasing through August. While this is the show's final season, we are getting an additional four episodes at the end to wrap up the story, and they will debut one week after the fourth season finale.

Pillowcase Murders

  • Paramount+ premiere date: May 14

This heartbreaking yet riveting new three-part docuseries investigates the serial killer Billy Chemirmir, who left dozens of victims across the Dallas metropolitan area from 2016 to 2018. Preying on older women, often those residing in independent living communities, Chemirmir is suspected of killing at least 22 women, potentially more, though only two were officially confirmed. And like the name suggests, he suffocated his victims with pillows before often robbing them of their valuables and then going on to sell them immediately after.

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)

  • Now streaming on Paramount+

It's May, which means it's getting pretty hot in most locations across the United States (it's already 80 degrees here on the East Coast), so now feels like an opportune time to revisit this 1997 teen slasher classic starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillipe, and Freddie Prinze Jr. Based on Lois Duncan's novel of the same name, the first movie follows a group of friends who find themselves being stalked by a hook-handed killer one year after they cover up a murder. The sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer, is also streaming.

Crawl (2019)

  • Now streaming on Paramount+

In the mood for a creature feature? Crawl, from Horns and Piranha 3D director Alexandre Aja, was a surprise 2019 hit starring Kaya Scodelario and Barry Pepper as they face off against a horde of alligators washed into their home by a terrible Category 5 hurricane.

More horror titles added to Paramount+ on May 1

  • Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth
  • Hellraiser IV: Bloodline
  • Hellraiser V: Inferno
  • Hellraiser VI: Hellseeker
  • Hellraiser VII: Deader
  • Hellraiser VIII: Hellworld

May 31

  • Black Christmas (2019)
