Freeform unveils this year's 31 Nights of Halloween, including new premieres and cult classics

With the best time of year almost here, the networks and streamers are releasing their fall and Halloween schedules, and that includes the annual "31 Days of Halloween" television event hosted by Freeform.

Like previous years, this fall Freeform will serve up endless thrills and chills beginning on October 1 at 1 p.m. EDT/PDT with a showing of the Disney classic Halloweentown. After that, you can pretty much turn on Freeform at any point in the day or night for the next 31 days and be treated to some kind of frightening (and usually family-friendly) content.

This year will include the return of favorites like basically all of Tim Burton's movies such as The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Frankenweenie, and more, plus witchy faves like Hocus Pocus and the world television premiere of Hocus Pocus 2 on October 6.

Plus, if you missed out on seeing the new Haunted Mansion last year, you'll be pleased to know the film is making its world television premiere on October 5!

And as usual, Freeform will feature some new content premieres with Arachnophobia, Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad, and Muppets From Space all airing during the month-long afraid for the first time.

You'll also be able to watch the entire first season of the hit Disney+ series Goosebumps, which was renewed for a second season though a release date has not yet been announced.

Freeform's "31 Nights of Halloween" is always a big hit and last year's generated 24 million viewers with the cable network ranking among the Top 5 overall in key demographics.
