The fall television season is officially underway, which is especially good news for anyone who enjoys Ryan Murphy shows like Monster and American Horror Stories. This week, two new Murphy shows are debuting, American Sports Story on FX (on September 17) and the second season of Netflix anthology series Monsters: The Erik and Lyle Menendez Story.

All nine episodes of Monsters will premiere on Netflix starting on Thursday, September 19. Unlike previous Netflix seasons, all episodes will drop simultaneously, which isn't surprising since that's how the first season of Monster, which focused on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, was released, too.

In season two of the biographical crime drama, viewers will dive into the twisted saga of the Menendez family. Based on the true story of the 1989 murders, the Netflix series explores what happened in the lead-up to brothers Erik and Lyle murdering their parents, José and Kitty. The show stars Cooper Koch and Nicholas Chavez as Erik and Lyle, respectively. Chloë Sevigny and Javier Bardem play Kitty and José. Nathan Lane, Ari Graynor, Leslie Grossman, and Dallas Roberts also star.

Chavez will also star in another upcoming Ryan Murphy series, Grotesquerie, which premieres later this month.

If you haven't had the chance to watch the official trailer yet for the series, check it out below.

All nine episodes become available to stream at midnight PT or 3:00 a.m. ET. Since this is a drama, expect the episodes to be on the longer side, meaning you probably won't be able to squeeze too many in overnight unless you're ready to go without sleep!

Fans of Monster have no shortage of content coming their way because Netflix initially renewed it for two additional seasons after Dahmer proved to be a huge, record-breaking success. We previously reported that the third season has been confirmed to center on the killer Ed Gein and will star Charlie Hunnam in the lead role. Monster season 3 will go into production next month.
