Imaginary (2024)

Starz release date: Sept. 4, 2024

It's a common experience to have had an imaginary friend when you were younger. But what if that imaginary friend turned out to be not so friendly? What if it had been holding a grudge against you because you abandoned it once you grew up? Now, it's out to get you and your loved ones. That's what happens to the protagonist in Imaginary. DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, Taegen Burns, Pyper Braun, and Veronica Falcón are in the cast.

Here's the film's synopsis via the Lionsgate official website:

"When Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice's behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be."
